Continental Singapore appoints United Automobile Services as the national distributor for car batteries

United Automobile Services (UAS), a company that specialises in automotive aftermarket solutions and services, has been appointed by Continental Singapore Automotive Pte Ltd as the national distributor for its range of batteries in Singapore.

Continental will be introducing three types of batteries of OEM quality, thereby significantly strengthening its portfolio for the independent automotive aftermarket in Singapore.

For the start-stop technology, Continental offers batteries equipped with EFB technology that were specially developed for entry-level start-stop vehicles. The even more powerful, innovative AGM technology is used in start-stop vehicles featuring brake energy recovery. For petrol and diesel vehicles without start-stop system, Continental also offers starter batteries that use conventional lead acid technology.
